COVID-19 SAFETY

The Bellevue Downtown Ice Rink presented by Symetra is committed to putting the health and safety of our guests and staff first. We have made several changes to our operations to provide a safe and enjoyable environment while visiting the ice rink.

With this in mind, we cannot do it on our own; we need everyone to do their part in helping us achieve a safe and successful 2022-2023 skating season. Per Washington State Department of Health and King County Public Health, the ice rink structure is classified as an “OpenAir 2” facility with mesh side openings allowing for air flow and all-weather skating. Facility occupancy is 496 with on-ice occupancy of 181.

Proof of COVID vaccination is not required but masks are required for all visitors and staff over the age of 2 (regardless of vaccination status) unless actively eating or drinking.

HEALTH AND SAFETY â€‹

  • All high touch surfaces will be cleaned and sanitized on a regular basis

  • Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the rink

  • Daily staff health screenings will be done prior to each shift

  • Rental skates will be cleaned, sanitized, and set aside to properly dry between each use

  • Skate guides will be cleaned and sanitized between each use

To limit wait times and safely monitor occupancy limits, a new online reservation system will help allow guests to schedule their visit in advance. Reservation slots are available in 30-minute intervals (hours of operation vary). Walk-up ticket availability will vary, visitors are strongly encouraged to purchase reservations in advance.
